Refund Policy
Last updated September 1, 2026
This policy explains what's refundable, and what isn't, when you order through Formly.us. We separate our service fee from government filing fees so this stays clear at every step.
1. Our service fee
If you cancel before we've begun preparing your filing, our service fee is refundable in full. Once preparation or filing has started, our service fee becomes non-refundable, because the work has been performed.
2. State filing fees
State filing fees are collected on behalf of the state and passed through at cost. Once a filing fee has been submitted to the state, it is generally non-refundable by the state, regardless of the outcome — this is outside our control and consistent with how states handle filing fees generally.
3. Add-ons and recurring services
One-time add-ons (such as EIN assistance) follow the same rule as our service fee: fully refundable before work begins, non-refundable once started. Annual services (such as registered agent renewal or mail handling) can be canceled before renewal to avoid future charges; already-collected renewal fees for the current period are non-refundable.
4. Rejected filings
If a state rejects your filing for a reason outside your control (for example, a state processing error), we'll work with you to correct and resubmit it at no additional service fee. If a state filing fee must be paid again due to a rejection caused by information you provided, that fee applies again.
5. How to request a refund
Contact support@formly.us with your order number. We aim to respond within one business day and process approved refunds to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
